Pale blue cloth cover, boards are not flat, spine is sun darkened and head and tail are bumped, slightly grubby overall, page block is tanned, there is a gap in the binding at page 80. Contents are clean and tight throughout. A very out of date un PC book. Each chapter is devoted to one foreign country. So- The Belgians are decribed in only three lines while three pages are devoted to the French, and four to The Americans. Ironic at the time of publication, it now seems doubly so.
